Miami's list of top attractions always begins with its iconic Miami Beach. The Miami Beach is an island city connected to mainland Miami via several bridges and houses the Art Deco district with all of its odd and beautiful buildings and the sandy and shiny South Beach.
Located on Watson Island, this adventure park was formerly called Parrot Jungle. The island offers enthralling adventurous experiences to its visitors only minutes away from South Beach and Downtown Miami.
Miami's top tourist attraction is the Vizcaya Museum also called the Villa Vizcaya. It is a Renaissance-style villa where tourists go for their dose of selfies and pictures because of the beautiful backdrop it provides.
The perfect time to visit Miami is between February and March during spring season, as the climate is moderate and there is still time before the hurricane season hits. Visiting Miami in summer time to enjoy the soothing sunshine on the beaches is another good experience. So you can also visit Miami between March and August for summers, and between November and February for a cooler experience as by then temperatures have slightly cooled off and with the rainfall getting reduced Miami seems inviting.
Miami's primary airport is the Miami International Airport. As mentioned before, Miami is an international hub for businesses and hence the Miami International Airport also happens to be one of the busiest airport in the world carrying over 45 million passengers every year all over the world. The airport is located in Miami-Dade County, 8 miles northwest of Downtown Miami, in metropolitan Miami. Other major but less busy options include Fort-Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, located 3 miles (5 km) southwest of downtown Fort Lauderdale and 21 miles (34 km) north of Miami. The rest of the minor aviation is shared between Miami Opa-Locka Executive Airport and Miami Executive Airport.
